Terms of Service

Last updated: September 11, 2026

Welcome to CitableHub. By accessing or using our platform at citablehub.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. About CitableHub

CitableHub is an AI-optimized project registry that helps founders, indie hackers, and SaaS builders get their tools discovered, verified, and cited by AI search systems. We provide structured profiles, citability scoring, AI discovery, promotion tools, and optional one-time visibility boosts (GQI Boost). The platform is completely free to use.

2. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI Disclosure)

CitableHub uses artificial intelligence as a core part of the platform. Specifically:

  • Our Discovery AI feature generates conversational answers and recommendations using large language models.
  • AI-assisted autofill can help generate or structure parts of your project profile from a URL or short description.
  • Citability scoring, rankings, and content suggestions are produced by automated and AI-driven systems.

AI-generated output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. It is provided for informational purposes only, is not professional advice, and should be independently verified before you rely on it. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content associated with your project before publishing it.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use CitableHub.
  • You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one account.

4. User-Submitted Content

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you submit to CitableHub (project descriptions, logos, screenshots, evidence links, etc.).

4.2 License Grant

By submitting content, you grant CitableHub a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and structure your content for the purpose of:

  • Displaying your project profile on the platform
  • Structuring data as JSON-LD for AI crawlers and search engines
  • Including your project in Discovery AI search results
  • Featuring your project in directory listings and recommendations

4.3 Content Standards

You represent and warrant that you own, or have all necessary rights and licenses to, any content you submit (including logos, screenshots, images, text, and linked evidence), and that submitting it does not infringe the intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.

You agree that submitted content:

  • Is accurate, truthful, and not misleading
  • Does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property
  • Does not contain malicious links, malware, or spam
  • Represents a real product, tool, or service
  • Does not impersonate another person or entity

We reserve the right to remove or modify content that violates these standards, without prior notice.

5. AI Citability & Data Structuring

By listing your project on CitableHub, you understand and agree that:

  • Your public project data will be structured as machine-readable JSON-LD schemas
  • AI crawlers (GPTBot, Google-Extended, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot, and others) are actively permitted to index your project profiles
  • Your project may appear in AI-generated search results, overviews, and recommendations
  • Citability scores, rankings, and completeness metrics are calculated algorithmically and may change
  • We do not guarantee any specific ranking position, citability score, or AI citation outcome

6. GQI Boost & Paid Services

  • GQI Boost is a one-time paid visibility enhancement processed through Stripe.
  • Boost provides temporary priority placement, enhanced visibility, and score bonuses for a defined duration.
  • Refunds are handled per Stripe's policies. Contact us for specific refund inquiries.
  • Boost does not guarantee specific traffic, conversion, or AI citation outcomes.

7. Partner / Franchise Program

CitableHub offers a Partner Program that lets you run your own fully-managed, hosted CitableHub branch (Co-Branded or White-Label). By purchasing a branch you understand and agree that:

  • A branch is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There are no recurring fees and we take no commission on your branch.
  • Founding-tier pricing is offered on a limited, first-come basis and increases as founding slots are claimed. The price shown at checkout is the price that applies to your purchase.
  • Your branch is fully managed and hosted by CitableHub. The Partner Program does not include source code, a downloadable copy, or repository access.
  • Every branch purchase is backed by our 7-day money-back guarantee. Request a full refund within 7 days of purchase; after that window the fee is non-refundable, as detailed in our Refund Policy.
  • Paid branch applications that remain pending are automatically approved within a short review window (typically 2 business days) so your branch can go live promptly.
  • We do not guarantee any specific traffic, revenue, or AI-citation outcome for your branch.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, fabricated, or misleading project information
  • Manipulate rankings through fake engagement (bot clicks, fake saves)
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
  • Use the platform to distribute malware, phishing, or harmful content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

8.1 Data Extraction & Anti-Scraping

The following activities are strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from CitableHub:

  • Scraping, crawling, spidering, or harvesting data from CitableHub pages, APIs, feeds, or structured endpoints (including /api/projects, /api/llm-feed, /llms.txt, and any future machine-readable endpoint) for any commercial purpose, including building or populating a competing directory, database, or AI training dataset.
  • Reproducing, mirroring, or republishing — in whole or in substantial part — the CitableHub project catalogue, descriptions, rankings, scores, or metadata on any other website, application, or service.
  • Circumventing, stripping, or interfering with technical protection measures applied to CitableHub data, including but not limited to rate limiting, access controls, watermarks, fingerprints, or tracking mechanisms.
  • Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to systematically extract data at a rate or volume that exceeds normal human browsing behavior, unless you are an authorized AI search crawler (see Section 5).

Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund, permanent IP blocking, and pursuit of all available legal remedies.

8A. Data Protection & Enforcement Measures

To protect the integrity of the CitableHub catalogue and the rights of our users, we employ the following measures:

  • Digital fingerprinting: Data served through our APIs and feeds may contain invisible digital watermarks and fingerprints that identify the origin and timestamp of extraction. Removal or alteration of these watermarks is a violation of these Terms and may constitute circumvention of a technological protection measure under applicable law.
  • Canary traps & honeypots: The catalogue may contain fictitious entries designed solely to detect unauthorized copying. The presence of these entries on a third-party service is conclusive evidence of data theft from CitableHub.
  • Automated monitoring: We continuously monitor for unauthorized reproduction of our data across the web and in AI-generated outputs.
  • Rate limiting & access controls: API endpoints are rate-limited per IP address. Excessive requests will be blocked automatically.

If unauthorized use of CitableHub data is detected, we reserve the right to:

  • Issue a cease-and-desist notice
  • File a DMCA takedown request with the offending party's hosting provider
  • Pursue statutory damages under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) and applicable state computer-crime statutes
  • Seek injunctive relief and damages in court
  • Report the incident to relevant industry bodies and platform trust & safety teams

9. Disclaimers & Limitations

  • "As Is" Basis: CitableHub is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • No Guarantee: We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific ranking outcomes, or AI citation results.
  • Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for actions of third-party services (Stripe, Google, AI search providers).
  • Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, CitableHub's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.
  • AI-Generated Content: Discovery AI responses are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies. They should not be relied upon as the sole basis for decisions.

10. Intellectual Property

  • The CitableHub name, logo, design, and proprietary algorithms (citability scoring, dynamic ranking, GQI system) are our intellectual property.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works of the platform without written permission.
  • User-submitted content remains the property of the submitter as outlined in Section 4.

11. DMCA & Copyright Policy (Takedown / Safe Harbor)

CitableHub respects intellectual-property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We are a neutral host for content submitted by users, and we are not responsible for content that users upload or link to.

11.1 Reporting Infringement

If you believe content on CitableHub infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Copyright Agent (below) that includes: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (c) the URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing material; (d) your contact information; (e) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

11.2 Our Response & Counter-Notice

Upon receiving a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material and, where appropriate, notify the user who posted it. That user may submit a counter-notice. We may terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

11.3 Designated Copyright Agent

Copyright Agent — CitableHub (WILDVERSE LLC)

Email: [email protected]

Please include "DMCA Notice" in the subject line.

12. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • Upon termination, your public project profiles will be delisted. Your personal data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
  • Active GQI Boost campaigns will expire upon account termination.

13. Dispute Resolution, Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.

  • Informal resolution first: Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally in good faith for at least 30 days.
  • Binding arbitration: If we cannot resolve the dispute, you and CitableHub agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform will be settled by final and binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court.
  • Class action waiver: You and CitableHub agree that each may bring claims against the other only in your or its individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims.
  • Jury trial waiver: You and CitableHub waive any right to a jury trial where permitted by law.
  • Governing law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State in which CitableHub (WILDVERSE LLC) is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
  • 30-day opt-out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms; opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
